Pocket Valuer - Home

Pocket Valuer Pty Ltd was launched in 2007 when it formally took over Ron Gedeon’s existing company RPG Consultancy Pty Ltd.

Pocket Valuer developed in response to the growing pressures of the valuation market commanding more prompt, efficient and accurate valuations. Such pressures prompted CEO Ron Gedeon and his management team to invest in the decision to develop a long-term strategic solution: a solution which led Ron to software architects J3 Technology and Hewlett-Packard (HP) to streamline their valuation process through the use of mobile devices.

The Pocket Valuer software was first developed in-house by RPG in 2002 as a solution for their valuers and to satisfy the growing demands of RPG’s clients.
Pocket Valuer, the invention, was patented in 2004, where Version 1.0 was developed in Visual Basic. Since then, Pocket Valuers’ software has been refined, enhanced and re-written in dot.net.

Pocket Valuer operates on the principle of continuous development. We continuously aim to enhance our product and service offering to bring simplicity and freedom to Valuers’ lives.
By allowing valuers to conduct their valuations electronically on-site without the need to return to the office for paperwork, they are now able to conduct more valuations, more efficiently, throughout the entire day. At Pocket Valuer, we believe that this will not only improve efficiencies and allow for more accurate valuations, but this will also result in happier workers.

At Pocket Valuer, we believe that happy employees are productive employees. The Pocket Valuer was developed to introduce some freedom into the lives of valuers; allowing for a greater work-life balance. The Pocket Valuer means that valuers are no longer required to spend time traveling back and forth to the office to do the paperwork.
